What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy cement, sand which am planning to use to renovate my house from mud to plastered, I gave my some amount to restock his carpentry shop. The remaining amount, I spent to buy two sacks of maize for consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfers, I would not have build the spacious house that am currently living in but would still be living in a small house and also would have begged my neighbors for food during the dry season. Thank you GD for the transfers
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in keeping their promise of sending us transfers which has brought alot of development which has even attracted the non participants in our community and are longing for the transfers. I have not seen anything that GD has not done well.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We're planning to spend our transfer on building a new house, invest bit of it on our carpentry workshop by buying more work tools and lastly use the remaining amount to start a small foodstuffs business here in the village.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're proudest of is owning some chickens which are growing in number day after day.In times of need we've sold some to help us out.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship currently is on making ends meet,with the current acute draught,our crops have died leaving us with nothing to fall back on.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when the all family is gathered enjoying the evening meal.
