Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I am planning to accumulate my monthly transfers to pool together resources and start a poultry keeping project that will give me extra income and improve my living standards and that of my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to meet my needs in school without necessarily bothering my parent who is struggling to meet the needs of other young household members with the little income that he gets from the casual jobs that he does. He is a widower and all responsibilities lies with him.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I see my life changing in the sense that I shall have approached clearing my studies in school and have a good life. I am optimistic that I shall be able to concentrate on the poultry keeping project that I am yet to start and make more income that will change my life in the long run.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
As a student from a humble background, College life becomes so hard to cop up with due the little resource from home. I majorly depend on my father for my fee and daily upkeep money in college. It had been my habit calling my father day out day in to send me money for basic needs which I could some time goes without since my father is a framer and getting instant money is hard for me. My life is currently different from how it was four months ago since I currently access basic needs on my own with eas unlike before. I am so happy that I do not go without some basic items here in college and more so I feel motivated and support in school hence I have a humble and peaceful mind to concentrate on my studies.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am currently a student at Keroka Techincal Institute hence I don't have a new goal for my life in the next four months but to focus on my education and work harder to always see better results.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four in months preceding my current transfer is the humble home that I have in college. I used the transfer I saved from my previous months to clear my house rent in school this has given me humble time and peaceful time in school. I no longer live with threats of my house being locked in the mid months and I currently don't face quarrels from landlords like before due to late rent payment. I so happy I have a good place to live in that has given me a good time to read and do my homework. I see my goal of getting an education has been boosted by GD that is why I am thankful to GiveDirectly now that I see one day I will achieve my goal.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect my life to have slightly changed in that I will have completed my current semester. I will be happy since I will be on track to achieve my big dream of graduating in the future hence will start earning better income in future life.

My life currently different from how it was four months ago in that I have developed a saving culture which was not happening before due to lack of income. But now I have some amount to save for future plans.

My new additional goals for my life for the next four months is that I would have started this poultry keeping project. I will be selling eggs at a nearby centers to earn an income to support my family and even pay my college fee.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have join saving group that is existing in the village. Before I was not able to join any group in the village because I could not raise the money. I have also saved some money and I'm planning to start a poultry keeping project. The project will earn me an income to support my family to meet the basic needs of the family and to pay my rent at school and also part of the college fees.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six month in that I will have started my college studies and I would have also helped my other siblings to pay their school fees.

My life is currently is different since I have been able to buy some timber which I want to use in constructing a house for chicken.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
When i was in form three.i suffered a strange illness which made me be on and off from school.I would come home for a week ,seek medication and go back to school only to fall sick again and have to go back home.This happened severally with visits to different hospitals not being of much help.Eventually,i was treated by a specialist in Tenwek Hospital and recovered fully.This affected my studies because there is some coursework i was unable to cover while away.This is the biggest hardship i have faced
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when every member of my family is back from their daily chores and we can all sit together and share a meal.During this time,we reminisce about old times and experiences and it makes me happy.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend the transfer in starting poultry farming(improved Kienyeji)to enable me get some income
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
When i was in secondary school,my parents were having difficulties paying my school fees.In order to assist them,i ploughed a piece of land where i planted maize.The harvest was good and we sold the maize and raised enough money to pay my school fees.This is the achievement am proudest of.
