How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have got a piece of mind because I have been in position to clear my son's bride price and I have constructed an ironed roofed house which has relived me from the burned of renovating my hut yearly. I have also owned the phone that I never thought to have owned at my old age.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly did well to give me cash that enabled me to address my pressing needs and I'm forever grant full for Give Directly and everyone who received this transfer is grant full in my village, Give Directly has not done anything bad on my side.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent all my second transfer for paying bride price for the wives of my two sons. As in our culture parents marry for their sons, I now have pride because as family we are now respected my our in-laws.
