How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different from how it would have been four months ago in that I was able to pay school fees for my children. This has been my major burden which I have never completed in time because I do not have a stable income. I have always depended on income from farming which cannot sustain all our needs. The transfers helped me clear all my family needs and even to clear my children fees arrears in school.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to buy a cow. This is because I know it's an investment whose value increases on a daily basis. I would want to improve my financial life by investing these transfers in a more productive way.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I am a farmer who has always put a lot of effort into my farming practices. In as much as I have always done my very best, I have never got the kind of harvest I would want to have. This is because I have always used local farming methods such as using local seeds without fertilizers. I used up my soil fertility and could not produce anymore. Receiving these transfers changed my life because my harvest has improved from 3 sacks to 8 sacks which I have never received in my life. This is because I was able to use modern farming methods such as hybrid seeds and fertilizers which I applied on my farm.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I want to replace my roof. The one I have now is old and the nails are coming off. The iron sheets used are also old and I know soon my roof will start leaking. This is why I want to buy iron sheets which I will use to replace the current roof for my safety.
