How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had never recieved the transfer, I would not be fully married. I would still be staying in a relationship without my parents blessings.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well by helping me acquire what ever I lacked in my family. However, givedirectly has done nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on helping my husband to pay for my dowery such that I could get a blessing from my parents. I also hired garden land that I will cultivate in to increase my produce and feed my family. I then bought a cow that will act as my investment when it calves.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest differnce in ny daily life is that I now have self esteem which was lacking before.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my cash transfer, I felt happy and ululated as a sign of joy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first cash transfer worth 1,700,000ugx, I have bought ten iron sheets 324,000ugx, deposited 50,000ugx, I paid 200,000ugx for cement, I bought a mattress of 110,000ugx. I am making bricks for constructing my house and so far 18,000ugx. I also bought clothes of 100,000ugx for my family and spent 50,000ugx on food. I have started a small scale business with 250,000ugx and the balance of 598,000ugx which I intend to use g starting construction work.

Receiving this money means I will be able to build an iron roofed house, buy household items.

The happiest part of my day is in the noon time when I am playing with my children.
