How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I am now making my own money from the motorcycle that am ridding as a boda boda . I go back home with UGX 25,000 on a good day and UGX 15,000 when the business is not good . Am now able to meet my home expenses.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, Give Directly did well to give me money, I did not have hope of holding such a big amount of money. There is nothing they are doing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent UGX 1,300,000 of my second transfer for buying a motorcycle that am using for doing the boda-boda business. I used 333,000 for paying a debt.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I'm very happy because I have managed to start building my permanent house.

The moment I received the money, I felt very happy.

I have spent my first transfer to buy iron sheets, timber and bricks. I'm planning to spend the balance on household items and bedding.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a mean of getting money to help me and buy a motorcycle for my self .which I will use for ridding as abodaboda to generate household daily income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is always evening ,because its a time when i will meet with most of my friends in Aloet trading center to discuss issues related to how to get rich or make more money.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which I face in my life is poverty which is brought by unemployment.
