How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I received Give Directly transfers, I used to wonder whether I would also have achieved what I have right now. I'm so happy that My standards of living have improved from sleeping in a grass thatched house to Iron roofed house. I also never had a bed and mattress but thanks to Give Directly now I sleep on a big bed and new mattress as well as dress well.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What I have seen in my opinion is that Give Directly has help me a lot because I could not afford to construct a house, buy household items. My heart is filled with joy for the support Give Directly has granted me because I never had hope that my life would transform the way it has. Secondly Give Directly did well to deal directly with the recipients by sending money to them and allow them plan on how to spend their transfers by themselves. In my opinion, Give Directly did so well in all aspects and nothing went wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfers as follows; Household items ugx 455000. Construction labor ugx 200000. Cement ugx 420000. Transport ugx 58000. Saved ugx 500000.
