How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan before the transfer was to build a house. Building a house and completing it will reduce a cost of living.

GiveDirectly give me to live better live and had done very well for me. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.

I spent my recent transfer on building materials. Completing my house has been my plan. Upon receiving the money, I immediately bought building materials to complete my house. Now I can safely say that I owned a house based upon the intervention of GiveDirectly.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy when I received the money. Because I want to build a house.

Receiving this money has brought lots of good things to me. Because the house that my family and I are living is too old also a thatch house. So with the transfer that I received from Give Directly, I have started the construction of my zinc house. And I am so grateful to Give Directly.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I firstly plnning to rennovate my house zinc when I receive my cash transfer and secondly,I will buy sufficient food for my household,thirdly my children need to go to school to be my future hope when I am too old to take care of myself.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy thogh I don't have money,but to see my grandchildren around me brings me joy,most especially during evening hours when I come home from the farm,they all are like happy,running to me to embrace me and can receive them with joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Right now I am in great need of food on a daily basis couple with the bad condition my house is in cause me to worry alot.My house zinc is old,it leaks so much when it rains,moreover,I lack good and sufficient food for me and my household.
