Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I plan to buy more household items such as utensils which I feel I need. The ones I have are the old ones I had since three years ago and I feel its time I upgrade. When presenting food to visitors in old utensils is not something I do enjoy and brings shame to me a lot.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have new household such as sofa set. I only had two plastic chairs in my house before the transfers. I would have to borrow seats from my neighbours just to cover my poverty to my visitors. This was very shameful because as a result, I lost respect from my neighbour. I hoped one day I will do away with this kind of shame and get my own seats. I just did not know GD will be my way out. I used my first five monthly transfers to buy a good sofa set. Right now, I am not worried even if I am away from home because I know the house is in good condition. Thanks to GD.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I know I will have managed to buy a cow. Currently, I do not have any livestock but it is my desire to own livestock. I have witnessed in my community how livestock has bailed my neighbours out when they have a financial crisis. I would also want to alleviate my poverty in the same way. I know buying one, the number will increase when it reproduces the number will increase which in turn increases my wealth status. This will help me too when I am at a financial fix by selling some and raise money. The rest I will leave as an inheritance for my children.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I have been able to build a new house that can ensure we are living under better conditions. I also bought livestock for rearing to help invest in my family's future. We can sell the livestock just in case we have any financial constraint. I was also able to put food on the table for my family on a daily basis and made sure we never went angry at all.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a goal of buying more building materials like cement and sand to plaster my house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the fact that I was able to buy building materials like iron sheets, poles, timber and nails that I used to build a new house. I did have a house that was not in good condition. It would leak whenever it rains and that would make my family so uncomfortable as sometimes we would wake up at night to take precautionary measures just in case it was raining. Now, I have a better house that is in a better condition and I cannot thank GD enough.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have bought the building materials and plastered my house which will look beautiful. I also would love to organize a remembrance mass for my late husband. And for this, I would have to buy the cow that will be slaughtered for the visitors and also buy some foodstuff. I will be able to fulfil this by saving the transfers over that period of time.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My family feels safer living in a newly completed house that I build using a part of the transfers. The old dilapidated one looked like it could be falling down at any moment. My children were never happy about the condition of our home and personally, I hated it so much. I always worried about our belongings getting spoiled either by rainwater that was looking through the rood of being trampled on of the house fell on us. We are all happy about the improvement in our home because we live in a new house now.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I am planning to purchase sheep and rear it. This will help me in making more money as the sheep will multiply and when mature act a disposable asset that will be used whenever I get a financial need.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have been able to construct a better and stronger house and I am comfortably dwelling with no fears of it collapsing. This is because the previous house was old, had cracked walls and leaning on one side that one could think it was falling the next minute. The new house is very good looking and I feel safer together with my family living in it.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will be different in the next months becaue I will be owning sheep. the sheep is a good investment in which my money will be well kept and multiplied. Owning livestock is a big economic activity that will help me have an added source of income.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Previously I lived from hand to mouth, I could not plan for anything however little money it needed to do because my income was so unsteady, and was controlled by the rains given the type of small business I run of selling traditional vegetables. Currently, I can plan for the future with the money I am receiving from GiveDirectly. I am able to think and plan ahead, something I thought I could not do at all.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Given that the weather in my areas is so unpredictable, in the next four months, I want to take up sheep rearing. The sheep can endure the harsh weather conditions and I know in the near future, I will have enough to sell and do other better projects that I am yet to decide on.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I do small businesses of selling traditional vegetables mostly in our local market during the rainy seasons. This means that during the dry season, my main source of income is jeopardized given that there is literally nothing or sometimes very little in the garden to take to the market after the sun burns everything down. During these periods too, there is not enough to feed on and most of the time I go to bed on an empty stomach. Currently, with the money I get from GiveDirectly, I can afford daily food all through the seasons. I am not worried anymore about my next source of food. Going to bed on an empty stomach is a thing of the past now.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, my life shall l have changed for the better. I will have a more comfortable and secure house for my family. The current one is too old and I get scared thinking it can collapse anytime when the rains drop so heavy.
