Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily will be my family staying in a good better house once I construct a new house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money from GiveDirectly, I felt so happy. I did not believe and had to tell my wife to help me confirm if it was real.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying building materials that I want to use to build a permanent house. I have been staying in a small semi permanent house with my growing family that was not so comfortable.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means a new life of hope and dignity in my life. I would like to build a better house that is modern and spacious. My current house is leaky and uncomfortable during rainy season.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I get paid for the casual labor that I offer and buy food for my household. The essence of provision to my family brings a feeling of being responsible and this makes me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing in life is unreliable source of income. I depend on casual labor that is seasonal and pays very little. This makes it difficult to provide for my family's basic needs.
