How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to build my house. I have been living in a deplorable house and couldn't afford to build a new one. So when I received my transfer, I decided to buy zinc and build a new house. Presently I have purchased four bundles of zinc and the recent transfer was used to pay someone to saw planks.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done extremely well for us. The project has brought infrastructure development to our community. Many of us are building houses because we are empowered financially by Givedirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my recent transfer to pay someone to saw planks for me.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My ultimate goal now is to build a good house with the transfers I'm receiving from GiveDirectly. To say I had the thought of building a modern house would be untrue but with my transfers, my taste has improved and I'm no longer comfortable being in a mud hut.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done so much well by improving and empowering people us, rewriting our story and giving us voice in society. They have not done anything that is not good, not to my knowledge.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought wood and additional zinc to add up to what I had purchased from my previous transfer. The balance is to pay those building the house and get some more materials should they request for it.
