How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I am pleased to have an iron sheet roofed house. Before, I used to sleep under a leaky grass thatched house which was an inconvenience during a rainy season.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well giving us money that has enabled to build iron sheet roofed houses, acquire land, and household items. There's nothing it hasn't done well in my opinion.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was used to buy building materials such as cement, sand, timber and iron sheets to complete constructing my house. The balance was spent to pay children's school fees and then feeding at home.
