What did you spend your second transfer on?
I started an m-pesa business that still works so well to-date, generating small profits for me. I opted to start this business because that was the only business idea I had in mind.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by giving people money that changes their lives. No negative opinion for GD from me.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different right now because I now have a business that generates some profits for me and thereby makes it easy for me to get some food for my family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchasing a cellphone for my husband to use in communication , bought decent clothes for the whole family members and food for the family consumption. I also fixed a verandar to prevent water from entering in my house and used the larger percentage of the amount on purchasing a television so as to be at per with the local news .
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I felt very happy because of getting the money that I never worked hard for and the first thing that I thought of was fixing a verandor to prevent the water from entering in my house.
