What does receiving this money mean to you?
"My household survive on hunting and farming. The harvest from the farm and the animals that my husband kill at times dose not generate sufficient funds to help us support our children in school. Sending our kids to a community school has never been our plan because the learning standards are very low. Nonethelesss, we resulted to sending our children to the school in our community this academy year becaus we are hugely challenged with finances! Therefore, upon receiving this cash, my husband and myself will immediately transfer our children to the city school which will be a great relief for my family because they'll learn better there"!
What is the happiest part of your day?
"Last year, we loss lot of friends and family members to the cold hands of death due to minor illnesses. Close to the end of the year, two members of my household members felt illed and I became worry, but at the end, the got well and we all made it to the new year and that brought me great joy".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"For the past three years, we have experienced very poor harvest during the farming season. Our crops will start to germinate well at the early stage of farming but when approaching harvest, the crops start to perish and it has caused a serious financial challenge to my household because the excess produce from the farm is normally sold and the proceeds are used to support the family. This has discouraged my husband and myself. He's unhappy as I am too, as such, he wants us rest the next farming year but I have been encouraging him because we have to care for our kids".
