How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has now improved since I now have enough food for the entire household,,we have new mattress,,beddings as well as clothes.

GiveDirectly provides unconditional cash transfers to people to improve their living standards.. It provides an opportunity for people to think for themselves on how to spend the cash according to the challenges that they face in their daily lives.

The money will be used to purchase ironsheets inorder to improve my roof as well as purchasing cement which will be use for cementing my floor and plastering...

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was not expecting this honestly. The cash transfer brought happiness in my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have a nice house now. I also have enough food. My maize field is also promising and am sure i will harvest more because of the fertilizer i bought.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought iron sheets, doors, bags of maize, fertilizer and i used some of the money to hire labor.

This money means alot to me and I'm so grateful to be part of the programme.

I don't have a specific part of the day that I'm usually happy,it just depends.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is i literally don't have a nice place to live as you can see with the rains I'm in a glass fatched house which is not safe with the rains all together.
