How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life was so miserable but now i have peace of mind and soon am going to become more healthy and grow fat.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD helps people. I had no house. People used to laugh at me because i had no proper shelter. I see no bad in GD. However, previously they gave money to many irresponsible youths who just wasted and ate all the money. They did nothing constructive with the money. This time round GD has improved. They have given to more responsible people like me. We are building houses allover the village. Thank you GD
What did you spend your second transfer on?
We are going to buy bricks and other building materials to finish the construction of our house. We are also paying medical bills for our sick child in hospital.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
To me receiving this money means constructing a descent house for my family since my current house hardly accomodates us because its small and also has a leaking roof.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day Is in the afternoon when I am having lunch. This is because there are days when we fail to get a descent meal.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I faced in my life was sickness because my husband , daughter and i almost died because of unidentified illnesses. This was because we had no money to afford the medical treatment.
