Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months I have a new goal to buy a land. The goal will be a household goal since both my husband and I will be contributing towards it. We have been saving from our business and so far we have great hope that we will soon be ready to buy when we find anyone who is ready to sell.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Receiving the transfers from GiveDirectly was the best thing to ever happen in my life. I have been able to do a lot with the money buy the biggest difference in my daily life is the construction to the completion of a new house. Initially, I was living in a small house which was not enough to accommodate all members of the household. Elder daughter had to always sleep in the neighbor's home but now I am living in a bigger and better house with my daughter having her own room, big enough to study in and also sleep in.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Our business which we started is currently doing so well. We have been baking and supplying many small shops within the location with our products. This has been earning us a good profit which in most cases goes to our savings. Few months ago we have been able to add up other two cows through the same savings and since then our savings have been growing. We now hope to get a willing seller soon so that we may start paying.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that these transfers have enabled me to built a new house because the current one is small,tiny built with old iron-sheets.My plans are executable because I got the transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have bought a dairy cow for feeding my kids because where we go for casual labor is far and increase farming of onions and beans and buy more chicken layers to be a source of income to my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different because these transfers have enabled me to move a step ahead because I have built a new house which was a fairy tale to me.

I am planning to complete construction of my wooden wall house and a dairy cow for milk production for my kids.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My desire was to continue with my education but due to lack of fees and support, I have failed to fulfill it and that has been the biggest hardship I have faced in life.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning after waking up healthy and seeing a new day is a blessing to me.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer to run a shop in the nearby centre.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is fact that I have managed to increase the size of land under cultivation. I have been working as a casual labourer and through my savings, I have managed to lease 0.5 acres of land in which I plant maize and potatoes. My hardwork in the farm has paid since I have managed to increase the output.
