What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my transfer on buying a cow for milk and an ox for ploughing. I then invested the rest in a food canteen where I sell light snacks at our local shopping center which is doing very well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have a good business which aside from bringing me income is also keeping me busy the whole day instead of idling at home the whole day. I also have cattle and a nice house which I could not have bought had I not received ant of the transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, sending money through the phone is safe way to transfer the cash and prevent the danger of handing large sums of money in cash which is a big danger. I think the organization can extend the length of sending transfer to cover a longer duration.
