My goal is to rebuild my house because it is not in a good condition anymore, the house has been built since 17 years ago and all the materials used at that time have already spoiled and the house is breaking down gradually. I know with GiveDirectly help, my dream of rebuilding this house will surely come to pass and my dream will finally come true.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
As a woman living in a polygamous household, I have more to do with my transfer. Firstly, I will pay all my children fees in school for this Academy year. Currently, I have two of my children living with me here and the are attending the school Votor. I know that educating them will mean a lot for my future. Secondly, I will change my house to dirt bikes and put new because the zince is old now and is leaking whenever it rains. As you can see, the house is built of mud and is old now. I will buy my floor mats, mattress and wood bed because they are what I have been wanting for so long and owning them will bring pride in my life. I am shame now to take my friends in my room because of the sleeping place. Lastly, I will start a small business to keep sustaining my household from the profits I will generate from the business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
GivieDirectly staff stopping here in this town today make me so happy. We were hopeless because GiveDirectly has been carrying out transfer in all our neighboring villages and just passing by this town, so we feel that we are left out of your program. Today, I am so happy to here all the good things GiveDirectly will be doing here from you people in the town hall meeting, I must assured that our life will never be the same, there will be some level of development here. I am not speaking for everyone, but my household.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My main challenge now is food because the harvest from my farm is not sufficient to take my household throughout the year. The land here is depleted and rice can not grow well on the soil here. The birds also damage the portion that come up. Finance is also my challenge because school will soon open and I need 3000 LBR (20 USD) to register each of them so that is 6000 LBR ( 40 USD) for the both of them, but I don't have that cash now and expecting school to open on November 1 2021 so I am worried now.
