How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved in that, I can listen to news and music during my leisure time because I acquired a radio. Now days I'm updated what is going on a round the world and my mind is occupied all the time as opposed to when I got second hand information. Secondly, I'm in the process of building permanent house. I'm left with buying bricks and still sleeping in thatched house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by giving me money for buying building materials and a radio. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought a radio, clothes, Agricultural inputs, bought food and saved.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means building and sleeping ain a permanent iron roofed house. That will improve on my standard of living and elevate my status in the community. I currently sleep in a grass thatched house which is infested by termites making it very expensive to renovate on yearly basis because he grass for thatching is scarce.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest art of the day is after I have eaten lunch. I feel happy because I have beenable to secure what my family can eat and once they have eaten, I am able to see smiles on their faces. That makes me very happy to look at a smiling fmily.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of a diversified source of income which would help sort household hardships. I currently rely on farming which is not reliable because I rely on rain fed agriculture which is not reliable. That pouses a threat to my household because I can not offset any emergencies that a rise at household level easily.
