How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I'm now able to provide for my family (basic needs) and build a permanent structure. Compared to before when I had grass thatched hurt and I could not provide. I would not be having now my permanent structure if I never received my transfer.

In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well has helped us to improved on how standards of living. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that am generally happy compared to before I received the transfer.

The moment I received the transfer I felt so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying construction materials(bricks at 400,000ugx, sand 200,000ugx) I have not yet spent the balance of the money but I intend to use it for buying other materials and paying labourers.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will also be able to build a residential house (iron roof) since I reside currently is in bad condition.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I request my children to help me and they do .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is in ability to pay school fees for my children since I depend o subsistence farming.
