How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Give Directly has given me a new beginning in my life, i was saved from my poor ground. am really very happy.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD has changed my life and it enables us to spend on our needs as they arise which is very good. Everything is fine.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought bricks, door frames, window, doors, nails, bricks and also used the money to pay for labour of workers. I have used all the money as the house is big.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest differnce in my daily life is that these days I am ever happy and at times I just find myself smiling because I no longer have that stress I used to have when my life was very demanding yet I had limited resources.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money I was extremely happy for having got such a big sum which I have never received in my entire life.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have bought bricks of 360,000/= and the remaining balance I am planning to spend it on the other materials used for construction like cement, iron sheets, shutters, timber for roofing and nails.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is getting school fees for my children. It is usually a hustle for me to raise fees every term.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when costumers come to my bar to drink. At that time, I earn my income of the day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means achieving my goal of building houses for rent so that I can earn a monthly income to sustain my family.
