Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I did not haverst this year due to the disasters that occurred. So when I received the money I was every happy because I knew then that I would be able to afford food for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I did not yield any crops this year and I worried about hunger every single day but now that I received the money, I have enough food for my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The first thing I did when received the money was buying food. With the bad weather I ended up losing my crops, so buying food was my top priority. I then used the remaining money yo buy iron sheets, and other home supplies such as plates and basins.
