How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I told the team that came after my second payment that I want to build a big kitchen, I am still going with that plan.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I firstly thank God for Givedirectly and I will forever remember them. If not for Givedirectly, some of our children and grandchildren wouldn't be in school. Givedirectly has done so well for us. There is no bad attached to their name.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I've planned to buy fourteen steel rods and ten bags of cement to build my big kitchen.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am currently living in my brother's house and don't have a permanent place for myself since storm broke my house down, I really want to build my own house and money is a challenge. I am really struggling with my family for some needs and if I accepted and to receive transfer, I will pay hospital bills for my sick child, get food for the family and save some to sustain family for other things.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Being alive daily is the only happiness I can remember, but it's not easy....
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Like I told you.... I am currently living in my brother's house and don't have a permanent place for myself since storm broke my house down, I really want to build my own house and money is a challenge.
