Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am happy because I now own livestock that I could not have owned were it not GD. I also have a hope of constructing a new house using the second tranfer.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I got so excited that I had to call up a few friends to confirm if they had received their share even though it was 3:00 am.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used part of my transfer to purchase livestock(3 goats and 1 cow) because I have always wanted own livestock but could not afford to raise the money to buy them. I also bought 11 pieces of iron sheets which I will use to construct a new house as soon as I received the next transfer which I will use to buy to the remaining materials. The remaining amount was spent on foodstuff(180kg of maize for family consumption).

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that the plans that I have always had of building my own house will be achievable because I am going to use the first transfer in buying iron sheets, nails, timber and pay the fundis and build a new house. The second transfer I will use to buy livestock and because this program by Givedirectly have restored hope in me, I will consider getting a woman to marry.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is usually while in the field with the cattle because hearding is not only a job to me but it is indeed a hobby the reason I will use the cash transfer to buy my own cows to heard.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am faced with is that I work a whole month hearding peoples cattle yet they do not pay promptly at the end month with a number of these employers choosing to pay me in piece meals and that keeps me in poor circle that I cannot plan and do anything.
