How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would not have completed the construction of my house if i had not received a transfer from Give Directly, So my life has changed gradually.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD has done a very good job in changing people's lives in many different ways for example people have acquired land, animals, built houses and pay fees for their children.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
i spent 1000000 to buy construction materials like cement,sand and pay labor, spent 30000 to pay school fees for the children, i also used 100000 to pay a debt that i had acquired from the savings group the finally i used 200000 to buy household items like food among other things.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been relieved from the debt burden that l had and I was in position to pay my children's school fees in time with this money. I have also owned plastic chairs.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money I became very happy and thanked God.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for paying school fees for my 3 children at 754,000Ugx, iron sheets at 460,000Ugx, 6 plastic chairs at 144,000Ugx and the remaining money I spent on clearing the debt that I had and buying some kitchen utensils.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which i face in my life is lack of knowledge for income generating activities.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is mostly evening hours. especially when am sitten with my children and they tell me the stories from their schools.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help my household to complete our house which is still under construction .then the balance i will use for payment of school fees.
