How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to build my house before receiving the transfer. I have been renting for three years which is very costly and unaffordable.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly had done very well for me. I have a decent place to sleep and my children are in school because of GiveDirectly intervention. GiveDirectly had not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my recent transfer on building house. Upon receiving the money, I immediately bought building materials to jump starts the construction of my house. Owning a house will reduce the cost of living and improve our standard of living.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in bad when I received the transfer,, after I noticed it was GiveDirectly ,I jumped up from bed started to shart ,God had done it again.

The biggest differences in my life is,I will be boosting of a house in my life.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"My first transfer would be used to have myself enrolled in school because right now I'm out of school.
I've been planning to attend during the upcoming semester and I've also been very worried as to where to generate my fees.
That's the reason for which I'm very hopeful that money will be sent to me soon from GiveDirectly!
The next thing that's on my mind is to sell.
Business has huge profits.
So, I'll invest into goods that gives fast profits and the profits will be reserved into a saving club.
At the end of the year, I'll add more goods to my business and continue to safe."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"The only thing that I'm grateful and happy about is GiveDirectly's arrival in my community and the visit which you've made to my house today.
Most often, I don't receive anything out of the ordinary which is just my daily routine.
Yet, I'm happy that I'm still alive and that my family members are all health.
It's been a very long time since I received bad news.
So, I'm happy about all these small small blessings."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"Money is a serious issue for me, because, at the moment I'm out of school and hopeful that something good will happen so that I can be able to enroll for the following semester.
I find myself dropping out of school most often due to thr same money business.
Therefore, my years in school keep adding up.
I don't have money that's why I can not sell to have myself supported and catered to."
