Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference so far is that I have acquired household items that I could not afford before. My life is much more comfortable and peaceful.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My husband read a mobile money message. However, we were not yet convinced that it was true. We had to cross check with our mobile money account to confirm if indeed it was true. When we confirmed it, we jubilated on top of our voices and celebrated.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I purchased bricks worth UGX 600000 and sand worth UGX 100000. I spent UGX 400000 on transport. I bought a mattress worth UGX 115000, a bed worth UGX 65000 and a pair of bedsheets worth UGX 22000. I bought two chairs worth UGX 17000 and a sauce pan worth UGX 28000. I spent UGX 60000 to repair a bicycle and UGX 160000 on the foundation designing. I spent UGX 10000 on medical treatment. I bought cassava worth UGX 13000. I am planning to spend the balance on purchasing more construction materials like timber and cement.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will be able to build iron-roofed house. This house will provide better accomadation for my family members as compared to now where by we sleep in coldness whenever it rains since the current house leaks. My family members will no longer suffer from pneumonia because of coldness.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My fouvrite hours is afternoon especially while seated with the children. My children return from school and tell what they learnt. This has normally energies me in planning since I feel my money is not being wasted by the children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack oxen and ox-plough for ploughing. Iam always planting in the middle of each season and on small scale yet I have enoug land to carry on cultivation. This has affected crop output every year since I produce what does not take care of the family needs. Iam failling therefore to fulfill my responsibility as the mother of the children.
