How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to renovate my house. Since I built this house, I have not been able to improve it to an appreciable standard. So I am very happy for GiveDirectly putting me into their program. Because of this program I have bought enough building materials to begin the renovation of this my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
This organisation has done so much for us. I could not have done this on my own. Earning money daily is very difficult. I work with Cestos city cooperation. But my salary is too little to achieve what I have now. Because of GiveDirectly cash transfer program, I am now potent enough to be able to renovate my house. However, for things done unwell by GD I am not aware of any unwell things. I am very grateful to GiveDirectly for this helped.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought five bags of cement and eight pieces of steel rod to begin the renovation of my house. Truly, renovating my house has been my top plan. But due to the lack of money, I have not been able. I am very grateful to GiveDirectly for receiving such a plenty money. It has given me the hand to be able to achieve my long awaited plan.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The house that I am staying in previously is almost falling to the ground. Due to the lack of money, I have not been able to renovate it or even build a new house. The only thing that I have been planning to do when I started to receive the transfers from GiveDirectly is to transform my recent house that I am staying in from sticks house to concrete building. Therefore due to this reason, when I received my recent transfer from Givedirectly, I decided to purchase enough of cement to start with the elevation of my house. Secondly, I also used the other portion of the money to purchase zinc for the roofing. I am so much happy and thankful for this money from Givedirectly because I have not been able to earn such amount of money to achieve my dreams.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly have done so much for me. Through it's unconditional cash transfer for poor people, I am a beneficiary and I am building a new house for my comfort. Therefore, GiveDirectly have also done so much well by reaching out to every deserving households in my town during the enrolment process and determining their eligibility. I just want to extend my thanks and appreciation to GiveDirectly for everything they have done for me.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am so grateful to GiveDirectly for everything. Through the financial help from GiveDirectly I have been able to see a better future in myself because I am building myself a new concrete building. The house that I am staying in recently is almost falling to the ground. I have not been able to change the thatch roof over it to iron sheets because I have no money. Therefore due to this reason, when I received my recent transfer from Givedirectly, I decided to purchase enough of cement to add up to the previous one when I received my previous transfers to start with the elevation of my house. Secondly, I also used the other portion of the money to purchase another zinc for the roofing. I am so much happy and thankful for this money from Givedirectly because I have not been able to earn such amount of money to achieve my dreams

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Through the transfer, I was able to buy 15 bags of cement which cost me $120.00USD. The remaining portion of the transfer I split it up into two portions. I was able to buy 6 pieces of steel rods for the casting of the concrete materials. The last portion of it, I used it to buy bricks for the erection of the walls of my house. I am so happy for the improvement in my life right now because I could not have been able to do anything like this without the help of GiveDirectly.
