How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Through this finacial support, I was able to cater for the treatment and burial expenses of my mother-in-law. Secondly, I have got additional piece of land that is going to boost my crop production. Previously, my family had 2 pieces of land that could not produce enough yields to support the family needs and I would have incurred debts to cater for the burial expenses of my mother-in-law, had I not recieved this cash transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has gave me the money that I used for paying my children's school fees and catering for the burial expenses of my mother-in-law.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase 2 doors, 4 windows, a mattress, bulket, utensils, paid a builder and the money that was left I spent for treating and cater for burial expenses of my mother in law.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Having money at hand that is enabling me to deal with the day to day expenses is the biggest difference in my daily life. This is because I am able to feed my family on time and on a balanced diet, I was as well able to take my children back to school and then I got an extra piece of farm land that I now cultivate on. Before getting this transfer, raising money to pay my children's fees was next to impossible because the bricks my husband always bakes to sell and educate them had all been sold off and the money used to pay the previous term.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Since my children had been sent home due to lack of fees, receiving my money at that moment made me to feel so happy and relieved knowing that the next day, I would pay off their fees and send them back to school.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer Ugx 600000 to pay up my four children school fees. I hired farm land at Ugx 600000. I then bought two metalic doors, four metalic windows that I plan to put on my already existing house at Ugx 500000.
