How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I hope to do something of substance with my transfer, I want to buy land or 3 cattle by the end of the year.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The program is the best as there were no conditions attached to the money. I have never received such help before in my life.

I paid my children's school, bought some foodstuffs and household items and saved some as I look for land to buy.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at home doing my daily house chores, I felt good about the cash in my phone, my first thought was to pay school fees for my daughter who they sent home for fees.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I feel better now that my daughters fees has been cleared and I was also able to clear some debts at school which was not possible before cash came in from give directly.

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
If God helps me I get this cash transfer I hope to buy a peice of land and construct to take my children to a safer place.
I also intend to add capital to my small restaurant business inorder to boost it to earn a living.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My daughter of S.3 was able to seat her exams , the school accepted her to seat without completing school fees but it was not easy to convince them ,am still struggling to look for the money before next term begins. This has made me so happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge is when it rains heavily water comes from underground and it fills the house. That makes me and my children to fall sick from time to time .
The fire place gets cold I can't cook using firewood.
