How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I had to sleep on torn mat because I was lacking money to buy blankets, with givedirectly's transfer, I have bought a good matress.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I dont see anything that givedirectly doesn't do well as this organization has helped me with money that I have used to buy food and beddings and I am thankful for that.

The moment i just realized that i have received money from Givedirectly I was very happy and grateful at the same time because this is something that has never happened before to me in my whole life

My everyday life has improved so much since receiving money from Givedirectly, for instance I am building a decent house which will be able to stand affirm during the rains and even the strong winds, so i know that me and my family we are safe.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this household means that my financial difficulties will come to an end. I will be able to to build a proper house. This cash grant will bring me a smile on my face.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam happiest in the evening because it is the time I usually have food to eat. It is also the time I rest after getting tired during the day with piece works.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is lack of money to buy food and other basic needs of life.
