How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is so relaxed and relieved ever since I received the cash transfers. The cash transfers were spent on treating my child who had a complicated orthopaedic condition. This required alot of money and thank God, GiveDirectly sent the cash transfers. I would have lost my child because at that time we did not have money to carry out the numerous medical tests and checkups. However, my spouse abandoned me because of the pressure and tensions at home. I decided to relocate back to my parents. I am glad that GiveDirectly still sent me the cash transfers that are helping me to date.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well to send direct cash transfers to the mobile phones of the recipients. Personally the cash transfers helped me alot even when I separated with my spouse. They made sure I received what they had promised us. There is nothing that I know that GiveDirectly does not do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer to purchase three cows and clothes for my children.
