Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I purchased a DSTV decoder and a television with the cash transfer. This keeps me updated on the current world affairs. In addition to this, I am a debt free man after paying off all my debts. To me, this is a very big achievement compared to the past when it was hard to access any information. More so, I had debts which I could not clear easily.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received a mobile money message at around 3:00am. I read the message clearly early morning at 4:00am. At that moment I was overwhelmed with joy because my lifestyle was going to change.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the first cash transfer to clear a debt worth UGX 600000 and I purchased iron sheets worth UGX 450000. I bought a bed worth UGX 80000 and a mattress worth UGX 95000. I bought a television,DSTV decoder, a solar panel and battery all worth UGX 500000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to construct a better house than the one we are occupying right now. This house is about to collapse and I am scared of our lives.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon. This is because after a long morning work I can relax and enjoy lunch with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing right now is the education of the children. The school requirements are ever increasing yet I do not have a stable source of income.
