How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved in that, I feed, sleep and treat myself in a far better manner. This is because I didn't have a source of income that could enable to meet all these basic needs. In addition, I bought an ox that together with the one I already had will help me plough my farm land in time. In the past, I used to hire people's oxen that would be given to me towards the end of the planting season hence this led to poor harvest.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly according to me has done well by giving me the money that has bought for me items that I lacked forexample an ox and household items. On the other hand, GiveDirectly has only done good.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on an ox worth Ugx 1200000, bought household items like curtains, mattress and utensils worth Ugx 432000
