How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to build a new house for my daughter and I. The house that I am living in currently is in a deplorable condition. Almost every part of the roof leaks and it is about to break down. So I am very grateful to GiveDirectly for helping me with this my last payment. It has enable me to build a new house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am very happy for GiveDirectly coming my village to help improve our living conditions. Receiving such a plenty money from GiveDirectly that I never worked for is something so well GiveDirectly is doing or has done. I am super happy for this opportunity. It has helped me importantly. As for things done unwell by GD, I am not aware of anything of such.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have not spend my last transfer. I still have it in my phone. Because I have this plan of building a new house. Where I live is not good anymore. It is about to break down and the roof leaks too much. I live here with my daughter. Receiving this transfer has meant so much to me. It is going to help us have a decent place to live.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy when I first saw the money on my phone. Things have been hard on my family and myself and getting such money that I didn't even do work for at all is very overwhelming. Now I know my life is about to change for the better.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Comparing my life before receiving money from GiveDirectly and now,the biggest difference is that I'm going to be living in a brand new house which will be really comfortable for my family. Also now a days we dont go out of food. I'm just grateful to God that our lives have become better and I know there's more to come.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
First of all the house that we live in is very deplorable. The just ended rainy season wasn't easy because our house was leaking and sometimes at night when it's raining we dont sleep. My first priority is my house.I bought few bundles of zinc, nails and some other building materials.I want to build a new house for my family and myself. I also bought some food items including half bag of rice, a pack of vita and some salt for my wife.
