Previously, my income was meager which ment pressing needs like food. Therefore, we had to struggle and stay in a squeezed old shanty with cracked walls since that's what we would afford. The biggest difference in my daily life is that my house has steel windows that I had been longing for in a long time. I was not able to achieve this before due to lack of money because the income I made could only sustain my family's needs and it was impossible to replace my previous wooden windows. Having these wooden windows made me feel embarrassed to invite my friends over to come to visit. Today, I feel privileged to have a beautiful house that is well ventilated that is enhanced with the presence of these steel windows that I had put.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been able to use these transfers to purchase critical household items such as beddings which were quite a big problem in my house. My children who slept on a mat before are now comfortably sleeping on a mattress which I purchased using GD transfers and I was also able to buy a larger quality mattress which has solved my constant back problems that were caused by the light old one I used before.

I am planning to plaster my house because it is currently made of mud and it constantly requires high maintenance, especially during the rainy season.
