How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better now because I have been in position to own cattle and ox-plough that have helped in agriculture. I have decent beddings and I was able to seek proper medical treatment. I had one bull previously that couldn't plough alone. Most oxen owner were not easily giving out their oxen and this resulted to late ploughing on my side. The bedings I was using were also very old and uncomfortable .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well to give me unconditionally cash transfers. Recieving this money has enabled us acquire many items like ox-plough, cattle, bedings and clearing medical bills. On my side, GiveDirectly has only done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the second transfer for purchasing a cow at UGX 800,000 that I believe will support me settle any problem that arises and provide milk. I bought a bed and a matress at UGX 300,000. I lent out UGX 120,0000 and saved UGX 582,000 to spend later to plaster my house.
