How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, we look much better in our newly purchased clothes. Previously we wouldn't afford to buy such since the family expenses were more than my income. Therefore we would take care of the most basic needs first such as buying food. This would force us to wear the same clothes for a while. I thank God because I don't have to wash and wait for the clothes to dry. I now have a few clothes I can change to when doing laundry
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal in the next four-months is to plaster my house with part of the previous transfers. I bought enough materials that will aid me through the plastering process. I need to have enough money for buying cement and for labour within the next four months. I believe my monthly transfers for these four months will be enough to accumulate the required amount. This gives me hopes of fulfilling my desire of plastering my home so as to reduce dust and make work easier for my wife.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
My land has not been lying idle because I now have the means to cultivate throughout the year. Since I got this money, I got empowered to facilitate my farming activities. This has helped me generate enough income and also provide sufficient food for my family. The financial support has enabled me to do large scale farming which I would be not able to do previously when I only depended on casual jobs. This has been the greatest difference in my life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have plastered my house in the next six months. With the support I get from Give Directly I now have hopes of living in a more conducive home where I can rest and relax after long day work. At least I won't be spending a lot of money in repairing the mud-walled house

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Now I am stress-free since I no longer strain my self in order to meet my needs, Now I can facilitate my farming without too much pressure. I can manage to buy farm inputs without struggling. After investing enough money I decided to use the remaining amount to buy food and other miscellaneous items to support my family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new additional goal is to raise tea seedlings. My plan is to get them ready for planting come next year April during rain season. This will help cut the costly price of buying ready seedlings which are normally so expensive. Tea bushes are the biggest and long term investment that never disappoints. Very soon I will stop depending on casual jobs in order to survive.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life ever since I started getting these transfers is that I managed to purchase new plastic chairs. When visitors come to my place, I will not worry because I have enough seats and wouldn't have to run up and down asking my neighbours to lend me their seats. It was so embarrassing to ask visitors to sit down when I couldn't get enough chairs. Plastic chairs were my first priority goal because they are efficient and affordable. The seats can be moved easily which can make it easy to clean the house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
After spending my recent transfer on buying passion fruits and seedlings, I will no longer seek casual jobs more often because I will be managing my own farm. I am glad that Give Directly chose me to be one of their beneficiaries. I was able to make big steps in life because of them. May God bless this organization.
