How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different from how it was in that I have been able to give a helping hand to my family members without struggling. my mum's business has increased. I was able to part with some of my transfer and making this impact in her life has made me happy because she is now able to take care of most of her needs with ease. Going back to college has also changed my life because I have more knowledge and determined to finish my course with good grades with the objective of looking for a job.,.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life?
My new goal is to finish college. I do not have a reliable source of supporting my education but to depend on my relatives and friends. I would not want to reach a point where I would be forced to drop out of college because this is what I have always wanted and for this reason, I want to fight till the end of my semester.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent part of my transfer on paying my college fees. I had finished high school but my hopes of ever joining college were not there. My parents have been running a small business and due to the meager profits that they could get, they were definitely unable to facilitate my education. I am happy that I have started working towards meeting my goal of ever getting a white-collar job after graduation. The remaining amount was spent on renting my house and boosting my mother's business which is doing well.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently so different from how it would have been. Had I not received the transfers, I would still be working as a janitor which did not earn me enough money to even settle my daily bills. Meaning I still would not have joined college because of lack of resources. But thanks to GD, I now own a business and have even enrolled in a college for my studies in education. I had lost hope but GD revamped my hope and I can dream again.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life?
I have no major goals apart from going back to school. I had a passion for being a teacher but I lacked resources to pay my school fees. So when I received my second transfer, I saved some amount to facilitate the paying of my school fees. The reason I started the second hand clothes business to help me raise money for my school fees.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my first transfer, I started a second-hand clothes business. I specialized in ladies clothes because that's where I saw the nitch. So upon receiving my second transfer, I boosted my business by renting a stall where my customers can easily access my products and I also managed to increase my stock. This has seen my business flourish within a short span of time thanks to GD I now generate income and can comfortably meet my personal needs.

Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I would want to go back to school and take a course on education which I am sure I will get a job once I am done with studies. This will help me live the life I have always dreamnt of.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have always felt ashamed to take my friends to my house because it was almost empty. I did not have seats, and we used to sit on my mattress, unlike my friends who have developed in that area. When I received this transfer, I went to buy household items such as sofa set, cupboard and television which I felt I really needed in my house. Now that I have them, I feel very comfortable taking my colleagues to my house because I have good seats and we can be entertained with the televisions I bought. This makes me very happy.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my transfer on starting a shoe and cloth business which I know will help develop my financial life. I also bought household items such as sofa set, cupboard and television since I did not have them in my house. I saved the remaining part for further use when there is a need.
Describe the moment when you started receiving transfers. How did you feel?
I was very happy because at first, I was not sure if I would get the money. Most organizations have promised to help us but fail to deliver and I thought GD was just like them.
