How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to renovate my house. I also want to start a new business after I'm done with the house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly does well in blessing us. They have put joy in our hearts and that is a good thing. What I feel they don't do well is the issue of them not paying people together. Some people received the first payment but their second payment has not come. This makes people to worry a lot, and it doesn't make me happy.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought two bundles of zinc. Part of my money was used on my son's health, who unfortunately passed away 2 days ago. I've saved the rest to start a new business.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
We find difficulties getting our children school fees and the business we do (raw fufu) cannot reach the full amount to pay their fees as such most of them are home. If success to receive the transfer, we will pay their school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
We have been struggling to school fees and my husband went under operation, things have really been difficult but what really really makes me happy is having life and strength to be to feed my children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges we facing right now is being able afford my kids school fees and get food for them. My spouse even went under operation when he dropped from a palm trees trying get meal for his family and since then he is not too strong to get us food like before, we now live and depend on our little cassava patch.
