What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I plan to do a number of things using the transfer. In the first place, I opt to buy a plot of land at 810 and build a permanent house worthy USD 1081 with will me stay comfortably with my family with no worries that we shall of landslides and flash floods and live good life like any other family that stay in a safer place.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I felt so happy when sold my cow that I had taken care of for the period of two years at USD 216 which enabled me pay school fees for my son in a private school who is sitting for Primary Leaving Examinations as I talk now.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge I am facing now days is land slides and flash floods which destroy my gardens when I plant crops leaving us with no food to survive on. I am also finding hardships with starting up a business because I have no financial capital since all my agricultural projects were destroyed by landslides and flash floods. The other thing that disturbed my mind so much is staying in the area where I am always worried of my family being taken by landslides anytime. Indeed we don't comfortably sleep in the house because anytime, we can be swept away by this kind of disaster.
