My first, second and third money was used for payment of children school fees and improvements of my old house. With my last payment, I was able to complete my project and paid the children balance school fees. GiveDirectly brought happiness in my entire family life because, payment of children school fees had been a challenge before GiveDirectly came in my community. I am grateful because GiveDirectly brought proud to me.

I bought matress with part of my first transfer and save the balance money. My second transfer was use for materials like cement, sand,Zinc and Zinc nails to rehabilitate my houses. I went back to my village and hide my phone before someone steals my transfer I never shared my joy with anyone besides my wife. My wife and I are very old. We no longer involved ourselves in to hard labor. I make garden but the side of our garden is always small. My wife and I sell bitter ball , pepper and plantains to build our house. The current house we live in is incomplete because of low income we generated from selling our crops. I have been worring about how to get money to complete our building process. The strangers rooms in our house donot have mattresses . I am planning to buy two different 22 inches mattresses for the rooms .Our children always come for vacation and bring along their friends to short stay. I want their rooms to be well setup. My house is not plaster with cement. I have been trying to plaster my house with concrete cement but we never had money .My wife I cannot perform any hard labor again. Each time we tried to perform hard work, we always get sick. I believe that with the kind gesture from Givedirectly, we will own a very decent house in this village.
