How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
All along I been renting but glory be give to God that I'm part of this program and now my new goal is to build my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly did well simply because with this cash it changed my living condition and for me there's nothing that I see bad about give directly.

I bought one bundle of zinc and the remaining money will be used to buy my plank to build the house I talked about.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was sewing that morning which is my normal business, when I heard people jubilating in the entire town about their money being on their phones, and when I took my own phone to check my account my money was there immediately I left sewing and starting dancing because of the joy in my heart.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Atbthe time when i was not receiving Givedirectly money I used to struggle and wait for costumers to bring clothes to sew before I can send my children to school but, Describing the biggest moment in my life now I don't have to wait anymore because Givedirectly is helping me out.

My money was uesd to buy zinc for my house that i want to build and to pay my daughter who is in UL tuition.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My name is Solomon Q Weah. I am a father of six children. Some of them are in high school while others are in University. My wife is not well and she needs medical attention. I am a tailor and that's the only means of survival because I am 58 years and can no longer do those physical work. I am currently renting because my house brook down. When I receive this cash transfer from GiveDirectly I intend to build my own house, sent my wife for proper medical care and support my children in school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, a lot has happened for my family that has brought me so much joy. Some of them include but not Limited to: My children progress in school which is very encouraging. Additionally, one of my daughters got married recently. The most recent and joyous one is the presence of GiveDirectly in my community because I have been hearing about them and it has been my prayers to be enrolled.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am faced with so many challenges. My wife is not well and she needs medical attention. I am also fining it hard supporting my children in school. Most importantly, I am currently renting because my house brook down. I am a tailor and that's the only means of survival because I am 58 years and can no longer do physical work. I live here alone because my family is in Monrovia so I have to do everything on my own.
