How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I feel a lot of happiness in my life because I can afford to buy anything I want and I had never held such big sums of money in my life. Thanks to GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD has done well to give me assistance because I'm going to start constructing on my plot of land which I had taken a long time to develop. However I would also want GD to appreciate those recipients who spent their transfers well on productive projects.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have acquired construction materials that will enable me construct an Iron roofed house. I have also acquired good beddings and am stress free.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I became so happy and I thanked God for his grace that is always sufficient.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying construction materials (sand, bricks, iron sheets, nails, timber, cement) The balances of the money I used for buying 2 mattresses for my self and the children.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to plaster my house, buy bulls and a cow. I will furnish my ironroofed house to look nice and the cow shall provide milk for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Normally after domestic and garden work ,i relax while chatting with neighbours and this refreshes my brain. This always happens in the afternoons.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of land for cultivation, so each cropping season i keep on hiring land which is costly and non profitable.
