How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am Jebeh Dorlley from Gbaibon town, Bomi County Liberia. Since I started receiving cash transfer from Givedirectly, I decided to build my house. I am presently buying materials to start my project soon.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is a organization that is committed to what they stand for and very trustworthy in transferring the money. I am also proud of the interaction between their staffs and people in this village including me. They are very patient and respectful. They don't accept gifts from people. I have not heard of anything that Givedirectly didn't do well in this village. May the almighty God bless this organization.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought three bundles of zinc, and ten bags of cement to start construction of my house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I'm opportune to received the cash transfer I will send my two smaller children to school and make a red oil business with the remaining one. Since the birth of my two smaller children I have not been able to sponsor them in school, and now they have turn 6years. It has always been my dream to educate my children but unfortunately my bigger children couldn't make their way through because of the financial constrained and now all of them are in their marry home. With the oil business I will be able to continuously support my two children in school and provides our daily needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What has brought me joy in the last six months is the time my elder daughter give birth to her second child. when she was pregnant I was always worried about her save deliverance because there is no clinic in the community and we have to travelled 2hours to another community before we assess clinic, and that cause more women to died during child birth, but God could have it, we travel to the clinic and she give birth safely.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenges I'm face with now is financial constrain. Our only source of income is the produce we get from the farm and right now the only thing we are producing is cassava, but we can not take the cassava to the market because we have to make it with fufu before taking it to the market, and the fufu production has to take close to a week. When we take the fufu to the market there are no buyers.
