How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
After I received the transfer from GiveDirectly, I decided to buy two bundle of zinc to build my then I also though on sending some money to my four children in Maryland for them to pay their school fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly can help people financially, so they can be able to send their children school, and to also development their community. GiveDirectly does not take water from people.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"Since I lost my husband twety years ago life hasn't been easy with my children and I. Leaving me with five children without any source of income has been one thing i never thought could have happen to me. With this cash transfer from Give Directly, I will use some to build a decent house of my own and used some of the remaining money to send my three children to school cause i know if my husband was alive he could have done the same for our children."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"Since I lost my husband I've been struggling to send my children to school but of recent I a got call from my daughter that she has gotten a scholarship from eight grade to twelve grade class that alone brought so much happiness to me till i started to cry."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"My major challenge in life has always been finances.
We have to farm and take our crops to the market before we survive and so I'm always feeling sick."
