How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes I have a new goal as I plan to build a house therefore I have bought bricks so that when the rains come to an end I should build a house as the house I was living collapsed due to rains.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by giving cash transfers as we were living so miserably and there is nothing that it doesn't do well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent most of my money buying materials for building a house though the house is I am yet to build the house

What does receiving this money mean to you?
As you can see this house we live in is not really impressive and nice looking, so this money will be used in such a way that we will buy bricks to construct a new house which will have iron sheets and not these thatched grass you are seeing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
We get happy when we have made money at the lake side through casual Labour, this money makes us happy as we use it to buy food for the whole family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We lack food because finding a job and casual Labour may be hard at times. We might go to the lake side in search of work but to no avail and this makes life hard.
