What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfers, I used my transfers for paying the engineer who roofed our commercial building that we had started to construct. This house will be used for running business that will generate money to the household for solving various family problems.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done well by giving us unconditional cash transfers which we have used for improving our living conditions through building houses, purchasing land, among others. On my own behalf, I do not see anything that Givedirectly has not done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life is that, I have the joy and I am stress free since am sure that the house I am building will generate for me more money that will help in our children's education, feeding and treatment. Before, I used to struggle to pay tuition and treatment bills for my children.
