How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal has laways been to purchase a piece of land for my children. Since I started receiving money from Givedirectly, I have continuously save all my transfers to purchase a piece of land in Kakata.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Givedirectly is doing extremely well because they gave me money to help me achieve my overall goal. I never expected such opportunity and I am so greatful to them for helping me.

Prior to receiving this transfer, I was burning coal and still burning charcoal, but transfer from Givedirectly has also change my stands and has help me to have good saving that will help me quickly achieve my overall goal.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I didn't have the goal of buying a plot of land for myself but GiveDirectly's assistance has given me the opportunity to do so.

GiveDirectly is really doing a good thing for us. It's because of the good works of GiveDirectly that I will become a land owner soon.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in the town when i received the transfer message.i was too happy because I wanted to do small business that will enable.me to get income but it was so tough on me. God has bless me through GiveDirectly , my father went to town and collected the money. I'm so grateful to GiveDirectly.

My life has changed since i started receiving payments from GiveDirectly. I am selling slippets and that is what i really wanted to do, later also sell fish to surrounding towns. Thank God for GiveDirectly.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I should benefit from this cash transfer, I would build a house for my daughter and I; I will also start a business. The business will help with the upkeep of my daughter and I because her father abandoned me since I got pregnant.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Giving birth safely has been my greatest joy in the last six months. Imagine all that I went through from the commencement of the pregnancy to the time of delivery, giving birth safely took away all my pains.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am a single mother whose spouse left since I got pregnant. I have really been battling with caring for my daughter. Many days getting food is a major challenge. Somedays, I'm mock at by others. My major challenge for now is providing food and medication for my daughter and I.
